Winter Storm #2 or is it #3 now....

So they had been warning on the news since Tuesday that we were in for another winter storm that was going to be worse than the one that hit us Tuesday afternoon... Really what could be worse than driving home in rush hour and have a 14 to 15 mile trip take you 2 1/2 hrs. Well knowing it was going to be bad I set the alarm for 5 am thinking I gotta leave by 6am in order to make it by 830 or 9 am.
I look out the window bleary eyed due to lack of coffee and sleep and what do I see more white stuff and it's still snowing at a pretty good clip, So I get ready and leave around 6:30 am Thanks to my honey for cleaning off and starting my truck, Not much is plowed main road have at least 5 or 6 inches of snow and you follow the person that's gone through before you. intersections are even deeper, four lane road reduced to two. Unfortunately I forgot the camera and I guess it's not totally wise to try to take pictures while driving, although I did manage to take one on my phone.
And go figure I got to work in 45 minutes, not sure if it was the 4 wheel drive or the fact most thought it the perfect opportunity to have a 3 day weekend. Now who's the dumb one...Hmmmm.

Mornings at my house

I forgot to add this, I usually get up around 5 am for work, I like to have coffee and my bagel (the dogs share a piece of toast) and then I get ready for work. Lately my husband's been getting up with me, He will usually take the dogs out in the morning and he will even go out and start my truck to let it warm up for me. He's such a great guy that's why I love him he spoils me. Anyway I was getting ready for work and the dogs and Johnny were on the couch.(Unfortunately he is unemployed right now) but this is what I saw



I guess not everyone was ready to get up and start the day.....

Winter Time

Okay so I havent been blogging lately, Why you ask we-lllll, it's like this my computer caught a bunch of virus's, Now I have virus protection but warnings were allowed because it was thought they were being denied. After crashing and re-instaling everything, changing passwords, and a lot of headaches it back. So to get everything up to date. Our tree is up and it's huge I think we need more ornaments but it will do for now.




Tuesday afternoon we had freezing rain and then snow about 5 inches or so traffic was so bad at 5pm it took my niece and I two and a half hours just to get to my house and I live about 14 or 15 miles from my work. Once at my house we had some dinner and my husband was nice enough to ride the hour to take her home which is normally a 15 minute drive. and were in for worse tonight, fun.... I have to admit once home it was a very pretty sight to see.

Our grand baby "Bean" as she is affectionetely call by her Papa stopped by for a visit she loves to take pictures and have her pictures taken. We also went to her Aunties house and decorated cookies with her cousin's for the first time she had a blast I of course forgot to bring the camera so I don't have any pictures of this and as far as the cookies they had more frosting and sprinkles then I;m not sure what

Updated picture of my grand son Caleb hes getting so big This is from a visit at his mommy's grandma's house. Were not allowed to take him yet. I mostly see him grow in pictures, it's a long boring story, but at least I have pictures.
